  • 04.01.2010 - Fae lasers for melting furnaces
    • With its LS series last-generation laser measuring devices, Fae presents at Metef solutions for level control in melting furnaces and in feeding runners for the width and length size of the billets. In the LS series, the LS30 laser measuring device is a class 1 system ideal on all surfaces for distance up to more than 30 metres. The device has reduced size (diameter 40mmx40mm) and weight (50 grams) along with a measurement frequency up to 30 kHz: these features are excellent for use on automatic machines and high-speed robots.
Its feeding at 10÷30 V.c.c. and minimum absorption (max 3 W), combined with the LS30 laser reduced size, allow a remarkable duration even on battery-fed machines thus granting a complete solution of the ergonomic and ecologic problems.
